Governance and the Trustees

The Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust's patron is HRH The Duke of Edinburgh and its President, The Marquess of Salisbury. The Board of Trustees has overall responsibility for the Trust and provides us with a breadth of experience and expertise in the countryside and wildlife conservation.

Trustees meet three times a year and delegate some issues to a number of Committees, including finance, investment and risk management; membership and marketing; advisory and education; and research steering.

Trustees usually serve a four year term.  The Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust is a registered charity (charity number 1112023) and is a company limited by guarantee (Company number 05579632).
