During July, GWCT's Dr Louise de Raad is spending two weeks of unpaid leave to hike Tour Du Mont Blanc, one of the most famous long-distance treks in the world, totalling 170km. She hopes to raise enough funds to help improve facilities at our Auchnerran Demonstration Farm in Scotland.
Day 10/11: Tres-Le-Champs back to Chamonix.
What a super last day it was! The views were once again out of this world. I very much enjoyed celebrating the end of the TMB with a few beers and a cable cart ride down!
It has been an absolutely amazing trip, a truly exceptional experience … the scenery above all else, the physical challenges, and friends I made along the way.
