The Sussex Committee of the Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust is delighted to announce the launch of the Sussex Fabulous Four Raffle, which offers the top prize of:
A day’s shooting for eight guns on four of the most outstanding Shoots in England - Goodwood, Springhead, Cocking and Angmering Park.
The day selected is Tuesday 9th December 2014, which is hopefully far enough ahead that you can clear your diary.
This is a day’s shooting that money cannot buy, and is only possible due to the generosity of these four shoots, and we are extremely grateful to them for their support.
The winning team of guns will meet at Goodwood and will be whisked from Shoot to Shoot, with a signature drive on each. The last drive will be at Angmering Park, after which tea will be at The Dover Barn, Angmering Park for guns, keepers, organisers and sponsors. The shoot lunch for the winning team will be at a prestigious venue, still to be confirmed.
A ticket for eight guns costs £200, and sales are strictly limited to 250 in number. Our aim is to raise a staggering £50,000, with the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust receiving £40,000 and the balance of £10,000 going to other charities at the discretion of the four shoot owners.
To launch the raffle, you are invited to a drink’s party on Thursday 17th October 2013 at Knepp Castle, courtesy of Sir Charles and Lady Burrell. Numbers are limited to 100, so invitations are limited to those interested in buying a ticket, rather than the whole family!
