BASIS Rodenticide Course (Hampshire)
This newly updated one-day course has been developed in association with the Campaign for Responsible Rodenticide Use, and will allow gamekeepers to go on controlling rats using rodenticides. The course is approved on behalf of the Health and Safety Executive and meets their requirements for best-practice ‘Stewardship’ to reduce the risk of rodenticide residues getting into non-target wildlife. BASIS Certificate in Lowland Game Management (Hampshire)
This course is aimed at all individuals who have responsibility for managing a shoot, including head keepers, singlehanded keepers, estate managers, land agents, landowners, shoot managers and shoot captains. It is a three-day course. Read more

Moor Walk (Angus)
We are inviting GWCT members and interested members of the public to join us for guided walks over a select number of Scottish grouse moors in April 2026. This is a unique opportunity to learn about upland land management, including legal predator control and muirburn, on site from practitioners and landowners and to witness the breath-taking biodiversity found on managed moorland. The walks will be followed by a barbecue and drinks with all the food being provided and cooked by Castle Game Scotland. Read more
