The Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust research experiments have demonstrated the impact of common predators on productivity and breeding stocks of various species and to ensure that those results are implemented effectively, humanly and are target specific we offer one-day workshops on fox control by snaring and cage trapping of corvids, using both Larsen traps and multi-catch cages.
Training will give a detailed account of best practice in the relevant areas, including an update on the legal framework surrounding these methods of control. Both courses conclude with a brief practical and theory test resulting in the issue of a certificate for those attending, which may be of value as part of a CV.
These events can be run consecutively, as an add-on to another course/training day, or targeted to customer requirements at their premises.
“Thank you for the predation control course. I was pleased that you mentioned the valuable work of the scientists and researchers, because I am sure that in many cases the appliance of the research is not appreciated by many” . Leicester
