Cotswold grey partridge group meeting 

Date:     Wednesday 12th June 2013
Time:     5.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.

Venue:   Macaroni Farm, Cirencester, Gloucester

The GWCT Gloucestershire committee and the Cotswold grey partridge group invite to an evening farm walk at Macaroni farm, Eastleach,  Nr. Cirencester, Gloucestershire. GL7 3NG (start of walk at 6pm), finishing approximately at 8.30 for a Bar - B - Q supper and drinks.

Macaroni farm is an organic farm comprising some 1700 acres and is the current holder of the Cotswold grey partridge trophy. The farm has a reared game bird shoot, which runs alongside the work that they do for the grey partridge and includes Stewardship options such as game cover crops and Beetle banks etc. The walk will cover both the work done on behalf of the wild grey partridge and also take in the reared elements of the shoot, in the company of GWCT advisor Peter Thompson and the hosts.
