In recognition of the changes taking place within British agriculture, the Trust, together with BASIS (Registration) Ltd have developed a unique Conservation Management course, which will enable candidates to achieve a recognised professional qualification in farmland conservation.
This short course is designed for those advising on cross-compliance, environmental management, conservation or stewardship options. To implement effective farmland conservation management, careful attention needs to be paid to a wide range of issues such as soil, air, water, wildlife, the environment and biodiversity. This new qualification is therefore ideally suited to those managing farms, both directly and indirectly as land agents, rural consultants and conservationists.
No other qualifications are needed prior to attending this course.
Tuition is two and a half days, with an examination by BASIS on the afternoon of the third day.
