Functional game and conservation crops

Grown for a multitude of reasons, the purpose of these crops ranges from growing hardy holding cover for pheasants to the provision of a nectar supply for bumblebees.  Ailing crops are all too common, causing general uncertainly.

A comprehensive day's briefing on the Trust's demonstration farm to discuss: aims and objectives; different crops and their attributes; soils, crop nutrition, pests and diseases; handy machinery; and Stewardship.

This course costs £50 inc VAT.
