The Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust is pleased to announce the great opportunity of shooting on one of the most famous game shoots in the UK. This day is an association with Bettws Hall & Guns on Pegs.
On the Southern edge of the Exmoor National Park lies the renowned Molland shoot where country sports and hill farming have gone hand in hand for generations. The topography alters dramatically over the 5,000 acres of the Park land that encompasses the Molland Estate. The shoot is made up of a series of valleys, laid out like fingers on a hand, which contain moorland, woodland and waterways. As a result the backdrop for various drives is extraordinary. The deep valleys, undulating pastures, woodlands and cover crops all lend themselves perfectly to offer exceptionally high driven shooting in stunning surroundings.
Molland is a mixed shoot and drives like Folly and Dipper offer the most exhilarating partridges. While superbly presented pheasants from drives like Gourte and Inkwell, which are famous and admired around the world, will challenge even the most experienced guns.
The guns receive a warm reception at Bremley Lodge where pegs are drawn in front of roaring open fires over coffee and biscuits. The lodge is at the heart of the shoot so guns are on their pegs ready for the first drive in no time. Lunch is served back at the shoot lodge followed by afternoon tea and cakes at the end of the day.
The cost of the day is a minimum donation of £1630 per gun for the day. The day is a 300 bird day of quality birds.
