Win a beautiful pair of made-to-measure E.J. Churchill Regal side-by-side guns worth £14,750 and help us raise money to prove the conservation value of shooting.Over the last 15 years GWCT research has shown how much valuable management goes on in the British countryside, much of it not at the taxpayers’ expense.
Habitat is retained, managed and created for wildlife because of game management which seeks to control common predators and provide supplementary food in the long hungry winter months.
The threat to your sport is once again rearing its ugly head. Funds from this draw will help tell a more balanced story about game management. We are seeing new reports from powerful and well funded organisations that appear opposed to gamebird releasing.
Enter the 2013 Gun Draw and help the GWCT provide the evidence that will counter incorrect allegations against shooting by measuring and publishing the myriad of conservation ‘wins’ shoots can and do achieve.
The guns have fabulous looking round action and fine scroll engraving. You will receive a personal gun fitting at the E. J. Churchill Shooting Ground, in the heart of the rolling Chilterns, less than 30 miles from central London. One of the Country’s top experts will guide you through the adjustable try-guns and pattern plate. After the fitting your guns will be made to measure giving you a pair that is 100% perfect for you.
The draw is limited to only 2,500 tickets, putting the odds of winning at 2,500 to one.Tickets are sold in aid of the Campaign for Game and are priced at £50 each, issued on a first come first served basis. The draw will take place on Thursday 5 December 2013. All entries must have been received by 5pm on Monday 2nd December 2013 at GWCT, Burgate Manor, Fordingbridge SP6 1EF.
