The evening will be hosted by Nicholas Watts, Austin Weldon from the GWCT, and keeper Richard Witt.
At Deeping Fen Farm the Watts family run a wild pheasant shoot. No one rears pheasants within five miles of them. Mr Watts employs a full-time keeper and also rears some grey partridges by fostering them out.
Other wildlife and farmland birds are conserved through Mr Watts’ passion for wildlife and this is seen through their sympathetic farming methods.
Tickets £15 each to include refreshments. Numbers are limited.
