The Manage page

The Manage page is where the account holder can change settings that apply to the whole organisation. These would include changes in contact details, adding or removing operators, clearing redundant beats. The option to download data is also located on this page.

Trap models used

There are many varieties of traps out there. To avoid presenting you with lengthy pick-lists showing trap models you never use, you select the trap types you own right at the start of the process. You can change this later.

Follow the menus to add in all the trap types you use. If you own/use a trap that doesn’t appear anywhere on these lists, please let us know. The lists will be updated automatically when Spring Traps Approval Orders are issued by Government.

Operators

Operator names and passwords for the organisation’s account can be changed only when logged in as the account manager. You can make operators ‘inactive’ temporarily, which may be handy for reasons such as prolonged absence. Operators currently tagged as ‘inactive’ will not appear on prompt lists as you use Trapper.

There is a ‘Forgotten password’ routine situated in the Sign Out dialogue. This initiates an email validation request to the account administrator, who will then need to reset the password.

Reports

All operators can download and view their own data using this dialogue. To avoid downloading the same data every time, you can filter it to cover a specific timeframe. Downloads come as an Excel spreadsheet file, which can be read by most spreadsheet packages.

The account manager can download data for all operators within the organisation. We assume for now that this will not introduce any unwelcome foreseen tensions between employer and employee, but we are open to feedback about how this aspect should function in the future for best workplace harmony!
