To promote the publication, senior keeper George Thompson (whose image appears on the cover) has kindly taken some footage of breeding birds on Spaunton Moor in North Yorkshire this spring. There is no clearer demonstration of how important grouse management is to the survival some of our most endangered and spectacular wildlife.
