We're delighted to announce that the GWCT Scottish, Highland and Grampian auctions rasied an incredible total of over £150,000, with £146,000 of that coming from the auctions and raffle, divided between:
• Scottish Auction £109,772
• Highland £12,656
• Grampian £17,779
• Raffle (for a day’s shooting for 8 guns) £6,060
All these funds raised will go directly to support our work in Scotland. None of this would have been possible without our generous donors, enthusiastic bidders, loyal sponsors, advertisers, and the volunteer committees who worked tirelessly to put the auction together.
As you know the Trust is a charity and we rely on fundraising for our income. Much of our planned fundraising activity across the Trust this year has not been able to take place, so the fact that we have been able to run this auction has made a hugely important contribution to the gaping hole in 2020 funding.
We are immensely grateful to everyone who has supported us and we look forward to seeing many of you in person at our auction dinners next year.
P.S. Have you seen our new Donside Big Four Raffle? Enter here to win a unique day shooting across four outstanding estates for 8 guns.
