Located in the heart of the Angus Glens, Glenogil Estate is known for its spectacular scenery and for very high standards in game and wildlife conservation management, satisfying both the sportsman and naturalist.
Glenogil is one of the most productive grouse moors in Scotland, with six beats covering some 17,000 acres of moorland to a height of 2,300 ft (701m). It is the setting for a fascinating and spectacular day of sport amongst the hills and wildlife.
The prize-winning shoot day will be during the 2019 grouse season. Confirmation of the day will depend on the 2019 grouse counts, with the day agreed by prior arrangement with the Estate. If grouse stocks don’t allow shooting, the day will be carried forward to the following season.
The package for the day is impressive. The winner of the draw along with his or her chosen team (including partners), will enjoy being utterly spoilt in the truly luxurious Redhaugh Lodge situated in the heart of this very private estate. Rebuilt in 2010, this unusual Victorian designed lodge offers both stunning and luxurious accommodation with 9 en-suite rooms. To add to this exceptional prize, dinner and breakfast will be included, with delicious food using the finest locally sourced produce, cooked by the resident chef.
Lying in the Southern Cairngorms between Glen Clova and Glen Lethnot on the Noran Water in the famed Angus Glens, Glenogil is just 55 miles south of Aberdeen airport. Steeped in history the Estate has benefited from substantial investment over the years and takes great pride in making the most of the natural environment and its responsibility for looking after the countryside and local people. As well as the moorland, the estate is also home to 3000 acres of low ground with exceptional pheasant and partridge shooting in high biodiversity woodland.
The draw will take place on 10th December 2018 - entries close at midnight on 2nd December 2018.
Proceeds of the Draw will help support the work of the Trust, helping us achieve our objectives.
