Win 3 Magnums of Le Brun de Neville Lady de N. Clovis

THIS DRAW IS NOW CLOSED

Congratulations to our winner - Olivia Hope

We are delighted to be raffling three magnums of Le Brun de Neville Lady de N. Clovis, which was served at the Sporting Dinner and Auction at Le Gavroche back in March, at the preview of James Gillick’s new exhibition “Still Life’s: 2019.” From selected plots and aged from 6 to 10 years on lees, Lady de N cuvées represent the quintessence of Champagne Le Brun de Neuville’s know-how. These Champagnes are dedicated to gastronomy: fine, elegant and endowed with a great complexity.

Tickets are just £20 each and the draw is on Friday 21 June. There are only 50 tickets available so hurry if you want to enter:

About Le Brun de Neville Lady de N. Clovis

Tasting notes
The Champagne shows a pale yellow gold dress with light green yellow hints with silver shades. The rather dense disk makes fine and light bubbles bloom, creating a persisting neck label.

The first nose reminds of smells of linden, cherry, gooseberry, pear, and red apple. When aerated, it turns to notes of honeysuckle, blackcurrant, Sichuan pepper, muscaté fresh grape, lily, with smoked, balsamic and iodized accents.

Vinosity and Vibration
The approach in the palate is soft and fresh with a creamy and melted effervescence. The wine develops with some fleshy density of white, red and black fruits, enhanced with peppered aromas. The final takes over the aromas and the tactile footprint of pulpy fruits with much greediness and sap, in an ultimate saline vibration, very palatable.

Food pairings
Abalones and sea urchins, Salad from Périgord with truffle and Foie gras, Calf liver, Veal filet and mashed parsnips with Sichuan Pepper, Striploin with mushroom sauce, Beef tournedos in tenderloin, Deer hazel and sour sauce with black fruit, Brie cheese with mascarpone and truffles,…
