The Highland Big Four raffle has been drawn with the winning ticket number, 256, belonging to Mr Anthony Trahar who lives in Gloucestershire. Upon receiving the call, Anthony expressed huge surprise as “I never win anything” and needed a fair bit of convincing that it wasn’t an April Fools joke!!

The winner of this fantastic raffle will enjoy four drives close to Kingussie in the Scottish Highlands on Thursday 24 November 2022. The team of guns will enjoy a day of pheasant and partridge with an expected bag of 150 to 200 birds.

The prize also includes overnight accommodation, dinner and drinks for your team of eight guns and partners on 23 November and breakfast on the day of the shoot at Dunachton Lodge, hosted by John Forbes-Leith. You will depart from there in the morning and shoot four drives on the following estates:

  • Ralia – generously donated by Ali Findlay
  • Coul – generously donated by Coul Estates Partnership
  • Balavil – generously donated by Balavil Estate
  • Pitmain – generously donated by Pitmain and Glenbanchor Estates

Tickets are £100 each and are limited to 400 tickets. The draw closes 31 March 2022. Buyers from outside the UK can enter. Under Gambling Commission rules we can only accept payment by Debit card.

The winner will be notified on the day after the draw closure date. If GWCT must cancel the day due to government restrictions, the winner will be offered the prize on an agreed date during the 2023/24 season. The draw is in aid of the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust Scotland Research.
