This event is to be held jointly between the ABF Soldiers’ Charity (ABF) and the GWCT. It will be held over two days – Friday 5 June and Monday 8 June. All proceeds from the event will be shared equally between the charities.

Up to 30 teams of guns will compete for a range of valuable prizes. Each team will consist of four guns and four loaders, and will shoot six stands, some of which will be altered between the two days. Each stand will be distinct, with different degrees of challenge, interest and novelty. After the shooting there will be a champagne reception followed by a three-course lunch with wine and drinks, during which a raffle and auction will be held with spectacular prizes. The quality and range of shooting, raffle and auction prizes will be the same on both days.

The first of the two days will have a distinct GWCT feel to it. Ian Coghill will be the guest speaker. The second day will have a distinct ABF feel, but the Army will support both days with vehicles and soldiers. The cost of entry is £1,800 per team. This will allow eight members of the team to enjoy the full range of treats on offer. Additional friends and guests would be most welcome at a charge of £60 each. The entry fee includes butties on arrival, tea/coffee, finger eats and drinks during the day and, of course, the champagne reception and lunch.

To enter please complete the below form and return to Major General Michael Wilson, Bridge House, Station Road, Gilling East, East Yorkshire YO62 4JN.
