The Hampshire Branch will be holding a clay day in the stunning setting of Moundsmere at Preston Candover near Basingstoke on Sunday 7 May. The bluebells should be out and everybody is welcome to shoot, not just GWCT members. Non-shooting guests and children are also welcome to come along for lunch and enjoy the beautiful countryside.
Flurries will be shot by guns in pairs, 20 birds per pair. There will also be two team shoots shot by full teams of four guns with the added excitement of a gnat shoot, which is a radio-controlled target aircraft team event.
The day will kick off with tea, coffee and bacon rolls at 9:30am. Shooting starts at 10am and people reconvene for drinks at 12:30 followed by lunch, auction and prizes.
