The NGC has been part of the Tracking Mammals Partnership since the latter was set up by the Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC) in 2003. The GWCT reported to JNCC in 2003 on a pilot study to assess the value of the NGC as a mammal monitoring scheme. It produced a further five annual reports to JNCC between 2006 and 2010 that summarise NGC mammal trends, and related information. The reports are available for download below.
