The 2016 British Shooting Show will open its doors at the Stoneleigh Park Exhibition Centre, Warwickshire CV8 2LG. The annual three day event, now in its eighth year will run from the 12th – 14th February.
The British Shooting Show is the UK’s premier shooting specific show and is held within 5 fully carpeted and heated halls, giving an exhibition area of over 450,000 sq ft. Visitors will be presented with thousands of products, covering all shooting disciplines including shotguns, rifles, airguns, pistols, optics, knives, vehicles, specialist clothing and a vast array of shooting accessories.
The show’s warm and friendly atmosphere has made it the most popular event of its kind for shooters to meet up and find out all the latest news and information.
The show is proud to host the UK’s largest public gathering of manufacturers, distributors, retailers and associations. Visitors often comment that although it’s possible to shop online they look forward to coming to the British Shooting Show because it gives them the chance to physically see and handle the latest products and speak with the industry’s professionals who are on hand to give the latest information and advice.
Many companies use the show as a platform to launch new product ranges giving visitors the chance to be among the first to try out new and exciting products. Visitors can also get themselves real bargains with hundreds of genuine ‘show only’ offers or even get lucky by winning one of the fantastic prizes on the ‘free to enter’ competitions.
As well as giving an unrivalled retail experience the show also has plenty to see and do. The 30 metre airgun range has 40 lanes giving shooters a variety of challenges using the latest high tech targetry systems. There are also archery lanes where visitors can test their skills firing at static and moving targets.
The arena situated near the Gamekeeping hall, will feature demonstrations and displays on a variety of themes including gun dog training, wildfowling and game cooking. A WW 2 Spitfire will be on display in hall 3 complete with its armament of Browning machine guns and ammunition. A new feature for 2016 will be the placement of high tech shooting simulators around the show ground.
The simulators will be free to use allowing visitors to try their hand at a range of shooting disciplines with analysed results. Exhibitors will also be able to connect their guns to the simulators using the laser adaptors, giving potential customers a realistic feel of the guns performance. Engravers and gunsmiths will give working demonstrations of their skills at trade stands in the gun maker’s halls.
As the show nears even more features are being added so keep updated by visiting the show’s website regularly where you can also buy tickets now at a discounted rate.
