Wellies.com is very proud to announce a new partnership with the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust whereby we will be donating 20% commission to the Trust on any sales that come via this link www.wellies.com/?partner=gwct or any of the other links in this blog.

Whilst this is a new relationship for both parties, the history between the two goes back years.

Wellies.com was previously Woolsthorpe Wellies run by Graham Brown aka “Mr Welly” and Woolsthorpe Wellies has exhibited at the GWCT Scottish Game Fair for many years and could be found on the corner of Fishermans Row by the main arena. In 2018 Peter Schofield bought Woolsthorpe Wellies and eventually rebranded the company as Wellies.com.

Since 2018 Peter has drawn upon Graham’s knowledge as well as learning many new things along the way. This has enabled Wellies.com to develop new wellington boot brands which are not only high quality, but also very reasonably priced and what’s best about the brands is the support you get from us with any aspect of your buying experience.

We offer free delivery on orders over £50, free returns and free size swaps. Plus all of our boots come with a one-year warranty as standard.

Currently we have 3 brands: Hound, our classic full rubber boot range; Muds, our flexible neoprene boot range and Splashers, our children’s range.

Hound

Hound Wellington boots are essentially a classic rubber boot made in a number of variations to suit you. Firstly, the range has two colour options, as this is a classic style, the choices are both shades of green. A lighter green (Highland) and a darker green (Forest).

Secondly, there’s the option of a Jersey or Neoprene lining (4mm). The Jersey lining is ideal for those warmer seasons; whilst the Neoprene lined boots have that layer of insulation you need on a cold day.

Finally, the leg adjustment options. We have a traditional welly leg with no straps on the side. These are perfect for traipsing through the undergrowth as there are no straps to snag. Then the option of a adjustable strap with waterproof gusset ideal for those who need a little extra calf space. The third choice is the zipped leg, which really helps in taking boots on and off.

Muds

Muds boots follow the increasingly popular style of a sturdy rubber boot around the foot coupled with a flexible, stretchy neoprene leg. This style of boot is usually the choice of dog walkers, gardeners and those working in stables. Plenty of movement and more lightweight.

Muds

We offer the Muds boots in a Men’s and Women’s range. Across both ranges there is a choice of black or green for each style of boot and various height options available.

All Muds have removeable insoles, which can be replaced with your own or washed as time goes on.
These boots have nice, deep treads and as the name suggests are great in muddy conditions.

Splashers

Our children’s range is simple but fun. A clear boot with a good tread and lined insoles for extra comfort. The idea behind this boot is to change the look when you change your socks.

They are also good fun for splashing around in of course.
