A ‘perfect storm’ of positives looks set to make this one of the best GWCT Scottish Game Fairs yet – providing a massive shot in the arm for the industry.

Excitement among exhibitors, visitors and the organisers is growing with the recent lifting of most of the Covid-19 restrictions in Scotland, surge in ticket sales for the event from Friday to Sunday, September 24th to 26th, an expanded show area and hundreds of activities already scheduled to take place.

There has never been a better time to be an exhibitor at the Scone Palace, Perthshire venue but if you haven’t yet booked your stand, you’ll need to do so now – there are literally a handful of spaces left!

Last week the organisers revealed that ticket sales were 80 per cent up ahead of the same period last year while also expanding exhibitor and camping space to accommodate the additional expected influx, plus a vast range of countryside-related activities, covering everything from shooting and fishing to dogs, falconry, ferrets, 4x4 course, food and drink; there’s even an open-air cinema.

Show director James Gower said: “We have many companies who are returning to exhibit once again – not to mention headline sponsor NFU Mutual – but, buoyed by everything currently happening, we are excited by the number of new companies that have signed up.

“It’s a great problem to have when we need to add on extra space for our exhibitors and visitors. Ticket sales are unbelievably strong and, with just a few stands remaining, potential exhibitors will need to book now or miss out on what looks set to be one of the busiest and most spectacular GWCT Scottish Game Fairs ever!”
