GWCT’s new Sons & Daughters Dinner to be held at The Savile Club on 28 November
The Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust (GWCT) has added a new exciting event to its calendar to introduce the younger generations to its research and conservation work – The Sons & Daughters Dinner is set to take place on 28 November at the prestigious Savile Club in London.
This unique gathering encourages members and supporters to bring their sons, daughters, godchildren, grandchildren, and families to celebrate and support the GWCT and its work. The Sons & Daughters Dinner will highlight the GWCT’s vital role in providing scientific research that supports effective game management and promotes biodiversity.
It aims to engage a new younger audience, to introduce them to the Trust's mission, while also raising crucial funds for the GWCT’s work aimed at preserving the British countryside. All the proceeds from the event will help fund the Trust’s scientific research that influences and shapes conservation policy and practices.
Guests will be welcomed with a sparkling reception before enjoying a three-course dinner in the elegant dining room of the Savile Club. The evening will feature speeches from leading GWCT scientists and advisors, providing insights into the Trust’s initiatives and ways to support biodiversity. The evening is sponsored by Taylor’s Port and guests will enjoy a glass to finish the evening with.
As part of the festivities, there will be a raffle with some delightful prizes to be won. This special night is designed to ignite a passion for conservation among our future generations, ensuring continued support for the GWCT’s important work.
Iona Campbell, GWCT Event Manager, says: “We are passionate about the research and conservation work our dedicated teams carry out all year round. We know it makes a huge difference, not only to species on the brink such as the curlew, but it also helps influence policies that shape and preserve the rural way of life in this country.
“To be able to bring this important message to your children, godchildren and grandchildren would be an honour and pleasure – we want to bring them on this journey to give them insight into the challenges we face and encourage them to help us shape a future where biodiversity is restored and the countryside is a thriving, living place.”
“Please bring them along and join us for this memorable evening at the GWCT Sons & Daughters Dinner and help inspire the next generation of conservation champions.”
