In recognition of the changes taking place within British agriculture, the Trust, together with BASIS (Registration) Ltd have developed a unique Conservation Management course, which will enable candidates to achieve a recognised professional qualification in farmland conservation.
This three-day course is designed for those advising on cross-compliance, environmental management, conservation or stewardship options. To implement effective farmland conservation management, careful attention needs to be paid to a wide range of issues such as soil, air, water, wildlife, the environment and biodiversity, all covered within the course.
No other qualifications are needed prior to attending this course.
Tuition is two and a half days, with an examination by BASIS on the afternoon of the third day.
The cost of the course is £350 + VAT per person for the three days of training, with lunch and refreshments included. The BASIS examination fee is a separate charge of £210 (VAT exempt).
