Princess Anne at LoddingtonHRH The Princess Royal paid a flying visit to the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust’s Allerton project to investigate some of the innovative wildlife-friendly techniques that are being developed on the farm for the benefit of the environment and wildlife. The event also commemorated the Allerton Project’s recent success at achieving the Investors in People Award.

Dr Alastair Leake, Project Manager of the Trust’s Allerton Project, said: “We were delighted to welcome Princess Anne and to show her many of our innovative research projects.
