We have two important courses taking place in September and October at the GWCT Allerton Project in Leicestershire. Both courses have very limited places available.

We’re running our popular part-time gamekeepers course from 26-28th September, which covers just about every aspect of running a small shoot imaginable including:

  • Rearing and releasing pheasants and partridges
  • Growing game crops
  • Predation control
  • Woodland management
  • Feeding regimes
  • Game shoot economics
  • Wetlands for wildfowl
  • Conservation of farmland wildlife

Areas covered on the three-day course include:

  • Predation control

  • Woodland management for game and wildlife
  • Game crops
  • Releasing game
