One of the UK’s most prestigious car dealers, Lookers has generously pledged to give £100 to GWCT when a member or supporter of the Trust requests the donation on purchasing a Land Rover. The offer applies to the purchase of any vehicle, new or second-hand in the Land Rover House of Brands including Defender, Discovery and Range Rover bought from any of the company’s Land Rover dealerships located in Chelmsford, Bishops Stortford, Colchester, Buckinghamshire, Battersea and West London.
Lookers recently provided a fleet of brand-new top of the range Land Rovers and Range Rovers as well as arranging a display of beautifully maintained and restored heritage vehicles for The Duke’s Challenge, which raised £685,000 for the GWCT. Members of the Lookers team from all over the country made the journey to Alnwick for the event to ensure guests were chauffeured in style between drives in vehicles with a combined value of approx. £2.5million.

GWCT Director of Fundraising Jeremy Payne said: “We owe an enormous debt of gratitude to Lookers for their invaluable contribution to the success of the Duke’s Challenge and it is wonderful that they have kindly agreed to continue their support of the Trust by donating £100 every time a GWCT supporter purchases any Land Rover product from them.”
The deal is confirmed for the remainder of 2025 and the intention is to continue it in 2026. A spokesman for Lookers said: “We are delighted to be able to support the valuable work of the Trust in this way. Land Rover and GWCT share a rich heritage and deep association with the British Countryside, which the Trust’s research and advisory exists to maintain and enhance.”
