Oakbank Game & Conservation Open Day at Rotherfield

The first Oakbank Game & Conservation Open Day is taking place at the Rotherfield Grey Partridge Reintroduction Project in Hampshire on 6th July.

We will be looking at the habitat creation and on-going management that is being undertaken for the greys as well as discussing how the greys were reintroduced, predator control and how a limited pheasant release programme works alongside the grey partridges (see here for more).

wildlife on golf courses

Having spoken to both Alistair Leach and Theresa Dent regards the potential to transform the mass acreages that golf courses cover. I would like to see an initiative started to encourage and start a change to benefit wildlife in general
