The Shotgun Chef would like to invite you to a day’s clayshooting and game feast at The Essex Shooting School in Epping for a day of fine food and fieldsports in the glorious English countryside on Friday 25th July. Gates will open from 10am and will close at 6pm.
Clayshooting – a 30-target compact sporting competition, with cartridges included in the price. It will be run in squads of five every half-an-hour, from 11am until 4pm. Clayshooting guests will be limited to 50, but unlimited family and friends are welcome and may make use of all other facilities.
Fly-fishing (with an instructor for beginners if you want to have a go).
Air-rifle target shooting - a practice range is open to everybody, with a friendly pool shoot competition (half the pot goes to the GWCT – the rest will go to the high gun on the day).
Pigeon-plucking competition – novices welcome (with a demonstration beforehand from the Shotgun Chef).
Of course, the main event will be the highly carnivorous game BBQ and less carnivorous bar!
Fantastic prizes for every class and competition.
