The Welland Valley Partnership and the Campaign for the Farmed Environment would like to invite you to a series of on-farm events being held at the Allerton Project during March.
The programme for each event will include industry experts, a farmer’s view and the relevant areas of cross compliance will be covered; there will be a farm walk to look at issues in the field.
Andrew Down from Catchment Sensitive Farming will cover:
- How biobeds work
- What permissions are needed
- What the benefits are
- A bio filter demonstration
There will then be an opportunity to look at a new installation and to discuss what worked and what didn’t during the build and how we see it operating.
All events are free and refreshments will be provided. Places are initially being offered to farmers in the Welland river basin but will soon be offered more widely, so please book now to secure your place. Book by calling 01572 717220 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Please be sure to include the following information when contacting us: 1. The event date, 2. Your name, 3. Your address and postcode, 4.Total number of spaces required, and 5. A telephone contact number.
