The Welland Valley Partnership and the Campaign for the Farmed Environment would like to invite you to a series of on-farm events being held at the Allerton Project during March.

Welland Rivers Trust and Campaign for the Farmed Environment

The programme for each event will include industry experts, a farmer’s view and the relevant areas of cross compliance will be covered; there will be a farm walk to look at issues in the field.

The event will cover:

  • Arable weed control strategies (Mark Hemmant, Agrovista)
  • The Allerton Project – our farm and what we have done to try and control blackgrass

All events are free and refreshments will be provided. Places are initially being offered to farmers in the Welland river basin but will soon be offered more widely, so please book now to secure your place.
