Kinnordy Estate is an excellent example of how effective habitat and predator management along with careful feeding and release strategies can produce excellent pheasant and partridge shooting.
The Angus estate walk gives you the opportunity to take an evening’s stroll through the estate with GWCT senior advisor Hugo Straker, Kinnordy estate manager Deirdre Stewart, and head keeper Barry Gourlay. This guided tour will focus on effective game crop placement, crop choice and how game management can contribute to a farms EFA greening under the new CAP. The walk will also incorporate best practice water fowl management and how to encourage wild mallard and teal.
The evening will end with a delicious barbecue provided by the estate.
