Following on from this year’s successful charity clay shoot in aid of the ABF The Soldiers’ Charity and the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust, the event will be returning to Raisthorpe Manor, near Malton, on Friday 23 June 2017. This year proceeds from the day will be donated to the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust and Yorkshire Cancer Research.
The Raisthorpe Flyers, renowned for providing nothing but sheer quality, will again offer superb shooting, which will involve up to 30 teams of guns competing for a range of fantastic prizes. Each team will consist of four guns and four loaders and will shoot six stands. Each stand will be distinct with different degrees of challenge, interest and novelty, including a gnat drive. After the shooting there will be a champagne reception followed by a sit-down luncheon with drinks, during which a raffle and auction will be held with spectacular prizes.
The cost of entry is £2,000 per team. This will allow all eight members of the team to enjoy the full range of treats on offer. Additional friends and guests would be most welcome at a charge of £75 each (we will ask for these details in due course). The team and individual costs also cover bacon butties on arrival, coffee, light snacks and water during the day and, of course, the champagne reception and lunch.
