This morning course is particularly relevant for landowners, managers and keepers in today’s ever changing political climate, and the need to have a clear paper trail in place to show all due diligence has been exercised to help prevent malpractice.
An overview will be given by GWCT’s Hugo Straker on the WANE Act and VL prior to a detailed, practical session on the legal and best practice aspects of corvid control and the use of Larsen traps, Larsen “mates” and multi-catch crow cages. The crow control session is even more pertinent now that new General Licences have been issued for 2017.
A short written test will conclude the session and successful candidates will receive a GWCT certificate (important for the “due diligence” paper trail).
We are also running a course on Tunnel Trapping in the afternoon. If both modules are taken, the cost is £108, representing a 25% discount.
Prices include VAT.
