One of the best examples of moorland biodiversity in Wales, Ruabon is home to an impressive number of red listed species such as curlew, lapwing, and golden plover.

This FREE event is an opportunity to discuss how best to protect uplands/moorland from wildfire, which causes a devastating loss to wildlife and a unique habitat.

The Fire Service will demonstrate the practicalities of preventing and tackling wildfires by using specialist equipment to create effective fire breaks.

Come and listen to the Fire Service, Natural Resources Wales, the Police Service, the moor owner and its managers to hear why partnership and working with key stakeholders is crucial in Wildfire risk management.
