Frostenden Hall was purchased by the Watson family in 2001. The cropping on the 279 hectares consist of wheat, winter and spring barley, oil seed rape, sugar beet and vining peas together with some grazing marshes which are let to a third party. All the arable operations are carried out by a contractor. The remainder of the farm is made up of the areas included in a Higher Tier Stewardship Scheme and a small amount of woodland. Some farm buildings are let to variety of tenants. The cattle buildings house a spring calving suckler herd and another is let to Natural England. In 2008, the farm won the East Anglian Grey Partridge Award and grey partridges still play a major role in the farm's conservation policy together with turtle doves, lapwings and barn owls. The family shoot has benefited from the Stewardship schemes and aims for quality over quantity.
