Join us on 5th August at 6pm for a live online seminar exploring the prospects for the 2025 grouse season. Drawing on over 45 years of standardised count data from moors across the UK, our scientists will share the latest findings from our summer grouse counts, assess regional breeding success, and discuss the implications for 2025 shooting season.
We’ll also be joined by Dan King of Sandhill Vets, who will highlight the importance of a joined-up approach to disease screening. Plus, we will also have an update on the LIV vaccine development.
Chaired by Dr Nick Hesford, Director Scotland, this seminar is a fantastic opportunity to hear directly from the GWCT research and advisory staff, ask questions, and learn more about how our science is supporting the future of grouse moor management.

- Importance of Health Monitoring – Felix Meister, GWCT Upland Advisory Services
