Please join us for this charity fundraising driving event, the first of it’s kind for the GWCT. The rally will start at Burgate Manor, the headquarters of the GWCT, just outside Fordingbridge from where teams will head out into the New Forest and drive northwards towards the Test Valley. Following a pre-set route designed to showcase the beauty and varying topography, landscapes and pretty villages of the Hampshire countryside, teams will stop off at Thruxton Circuit for a lunch halt where they will also have the chance to test their car handling skills in an informal and fun autotest; control and accuracy is the name of the game! The afternoon leg of the rally will take teams up into the North Wessex Downs through more stunning countryside, past superb estates and over beautiful rolling hills before heading back south to reach the rally finish at the recently redeveloped Winchester Auto Barn. The day will be rounded off with a delicious rally finish tea, prizegiving, a raffle and an auction.
Entry Details: Although this event is described as a Classic Car Rally we welcome entries of classic, vintage and sports cars of any age.
• Teams of two (driver and navigator): Early bird entry £250 if booked by 20th June 2025. £275 thereafter.
• Additional passengers: Early bird cost £85 each if booked by 20th June 2025. £95 each thereafter.
• Entrants will get more fun out of the route if they have a navigator with them, but sole drivers are welcome: Early bird entry £175 if booked by 20th June 2025. £200 thereafter.
• Non participating Guest Tickets for Rally Finish part of the day only: £50 Entry cost includes: Tea/coffee and breakfast at the start, a light lunch and fun autotest, a delicious rally finish tea, a GWCT Classic Car Rally Handbook (with route maps and detailed directions for the day plus some other interesting and entertaining content) and a commemorative rally plate per car.
Please Note: The Thruxton Autotest will be conducted in a paddock area, not on the racing circuit. Guests/spectators are welcome to come and see the cars and watch the lunchtime autotest at Thruxton and refreshments can be bought at Thruxton Circuit Café. Times are approximate and the route is subject to change. We regret dogs cannot take part in the rally.
