New agri-environment prescriptions and their associated guidance are now available on the new Scottish Rural Payments and Services website. A total of £350 million pounds is available to land managers between 2015 and 2020 to carryout habitat improvements and activities which benefit biodiversity across farmland and the wider countryside.
It is important to note that not all schemes will be available across Scotland. As part of the targeting of funds, applicants are required to enter their holding code to see which options are available within their area.
GWCT are pleased to offer guidance to those land managers who choose to plant wild bird seed mixes for farmland birds under the new SRDP. Further information and practical guidance is available on our advisory page.
