GWCT Scotland is delighted to welcome our latest student recruits. Hannah Brunsden, Markos Nikolaou, Max Wright and Elizabeth Ogilvie join us from Leeds, Leicester, Brighton and Birmingham Universities respectively and will be working with us for a whole year as part of their courses which require a placement with a relevant organisation.
Hannah and Markos (pictured below) will be based in southern Scotland helping with our PARTRIDGE project as well as other research focused on arable farmland ecology.
Max and Elizabeth (pictured below) will be based at GWSDF Auchnerran where they will be involved primarily with our biodiversity monitoring and wader research.
We hope they will all learn from their time with us: it is a rare opportunity to gain experience of real-world conservation projects and pick-up a variety of field and other skills. We certainly value the enthusiasm and keenness to learn that they bring and the contribution they make to our research.
