Introduction by Sir Jim Paice DL, Chairman of the GWCT Trustees. A British politician, he was a Conservative Member of Parliament for South East Cambridgeshire from 1987 to 2015; he was Minster of State for Food Farming and Fisheries and has farmed throughout his career.
Guest speaker, Sir Johnny Scott, best known for writing and co-presenting the BBC 2 series Clarissa and the Countryman. He is also a farmer, natural historian, broadcaster, columnist and countryside campaigner.
A fabulous Promise Auction with unique lots, do take a look at the catalogue before the auction with renowned auctioneer, Bernie Hutchinson MD, Market Drayton Market Ltd. The online auction begins on Monday 10th June culminating in the live auction on the day. There will also be a silent auction so arrive in good time to browse and chat with bubbles in-hand.
