The winner of the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust (GWCT) 2016 Grand Grouse Draw is Sophie Butler of Herefordshire.

The GWCT was delighted to receive a generous donation from Shooting Times & Country Magazine, which was raised through its annual Woodcock Club.  

At the GWCT demonstration farm in Leicestershire robin numbers are now at their highest level for 24 years.

The GWCT has secured funding for a North European project which will look at how new management solutions can improve biodiversity and ecosystem services by up to 30%.    

World Soil Day, is the one day in the year that the United Nations asks us all to think about the role of soil in our daily lives.  The Allerton Project was chosen as the UK’s representative study site for SoilCare, a new project that is investigating ways in which soil quality can be improved.
