Hurry! Limited tickets left for fast-selling 2019 Gun Draw

GWCT-Jack London -2017-081

FIELDSPORTS enthusiasts who have a passion for shooting have less than four weeks to buy one of the 300 remaining tickets for this year’s Gun Draw.

Billed as the ultimate prize in fieldsports, the winner of the GWCT raffle will win a day’s driven grouse shooting for one gun, a new pair of William Powell shotguns, a three-hour fitting session and 500 game cartridges, worth an eye-watering £25,000.

But, for the first time ever, there will also be second and third prizes up for grabs.

A William Powell tweed shooting suit, worth more than £1,100, is on offer for the runner-up, while the third prize is an embossed leather gunslip and cartridge bag costing in excess of £400.

Andrew Gilruth, GWCT’s director of communications, said: “Whether you have a passion for grouse or are hoping to shoot a day’s grouse for the first time, this is a great chance to win some fantastic prizes.”

“There are less than 300 tickets left of the 1,000 available and, at this rate, we will be sold out before the draw takes place so get yours before its too late.”

“By taking part in the draw, you will also be supporting GWCT’s vital scientific research programmes for game and wildlife conservation.

“You will be helping us to tell a more balanced story about game management by funding new research to measure and publish the positive influence it has on our countryside.”

Edward Leigh Pemberton was last year’s lucky winner who said, “it was such a great feeling to receive a phone call – days before Christmas – that I had won and buying tickets is such an easy way for everyone to support the excellent GWCT”.

GWCT would like to thank William Powell for its generosity in donating the prizes for the fourth successive year.

Tickets cost £100 for the draw which closes at MIDNIGHT on December 17th.

The lucky winners will then be drawn – two days later - at Fordingbridge HQ on December 19th.
