A new set of coins coming into circulation are highlighting the plight of several threatened species that are the focus of research carried out by the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust.

The infrastructure of the assurance scheme built by British Game Assurance (BGA) will be transferred to Aim to Sustain (A2S), it was announced today (Monday October 16th).

A new project by the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust is trying to find out if larger numbers of lapwing chicks can survive on farmland fallow plots if provided with more space to hide from predators and increased levels of invertebrates to feed on.
