Successful gamebird and songbird feeding

Guidelines for successful gamebird and songbird feedingThese guidelines address how feeding can benefit pheasants and partridges (the most common gamebirds in Great Britain and Europe) and songbirds of conservation interest. It also explains ways to reduce the use of feeders by non-target species such as corvids, pigeons, rats, squirrels, badgers and deer.

These guidelines are based on previous research, practical experience and a recent study that investigated the use of feeders by wildlife (Sánchez-García, Buner & Aebischer, 2015, Journal of Wildlife Management, 79:832-845).
