Sir John returns to Norfolk

We’ve received new data from Sir John that confirms he has returned to Norfolk where he was caught and tagged in March. He covered over 4,700km on his journey.

Sir John

As the map shows, Sir John flew east to Russia, stopping in north Poland and Lithuania before reaching an area in Russia not far from the border with Finland.

Sir John is the third of our tagged birds to return this year, following Wensum and Nellie II, the latter of whom also returned to Norfolk recently.
