GWCT is a nominated charity of Field and Country Fair

Field & Country FairThe Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust (GWCT) is delighted to be attending the Field & Country Fair at Cornbury park in Oxfordshire on 10-12 June.

With thousands of field and country sports enthusiasts expected to attend the three days of the Field & Country Fair, visitors to the GWCT stand will have the opportunity to learn about the some of the Trust’s projects, seek advice, and become a member to support the work it undertakes.

There will be the opportunity to speak to our team of advisory staff on a variety of matters; from any concerns you may have on upcoming policies, to the latest training we offer. We can also offer advice to help farmers and landowners with practical conservation work. You might even wish to share your thoughts on the Lynx UK Trust’s proposed reintroduction of lynx to areas across the UK.

Teresa Dent, CEO of the GWCT comments: “We are delighted to be one of the official charities supported by the Field & Country Fair at what promises to be a fantastic day out for country sporting enthusiasts of all ages. My colleagues look forward to welcoming visitors to our stand to see first-hand our work in, and commitment to, conservation science.”

Show Director Fiona Eastman adds: “We are really pleased to be able to work with the GWCT as one of our official charities. We look forward to welcoming them, and their members and supporters to Cornbury. We are sure they will have an exciting day out in one of Britain’s most glorious country estates.”

Located at the end of Block D on The Avenue, come and visit our stand to learn more about how you can get involved by joining us. If you can’t make it, visit us at one of the other game fairs and shows that the GWCT will be attending this year.
