GWCT Scotland Northern Auction 2021

Red grouseUnfortunately our regular Highland and Grampian events that take place at The Storehouse and Lochter Activity Centre respectively are not going ahead again this year for obvious reasons. We had hoped that restrictions would have eased in time to hold some form of gathering but it’s not to be.

However, similar to last year when both northern committees joined forces with the Scottish Auction to create a “Super” Scottish Auction, they are combining this year to create the GWCT Scotland Northern Auction, which will be held online between Friday 2 April and Friday 23 April. There will be the regular offering of superb sporting lots, a number of non-sporting lots such as clothing and accessories as well as some fascinating alternatives, including a selection of home-distilled gins, which are not to be missed.

While times are tough across the country, we have been blown away by the support of our regular donors as well as some new ones who are willing to support the GWCT by means of auction lots. We hope that as many of our supporters as possible will continue to support us by bidding on these generous lot donations, which will enable our scientists to continue the essential research they do to then allow our policy team to influence government policy.

The auction website will be live from 11am on 2 April and has full details on how to register and bid on auction items.

As always, we would also like to thank our sponsors, Saffery Champness, Brewin Dolphin and Galbraith for their unwavering support.
