Pupils from across Aberdeenshire are invited to enter the 2026 Game and Wildlife Conservation Trust (GWCT) Schools Art Competition. Open to all pupils, the brief is to:
Create a piece of art illustrating a species of game or wildlife from the British Isles, in its natural habitat.
Artwork can be of any medium; imagination is encouraged. The deadline for artwork to be submitted is Tuesday 20th October 2026. Please email entries to aberdeenshireartcomp@gwct.org.uk or upload individual entries here. If you are sending a large number of entries please use WeTransfer and send them to ilaing@gwct.org.uk
When you submit your entries, please specify that you are from Aberdeenshire, detail your school name and which category you are in, see below
- Primary 1-4, Primary 1-4 ASN
- Primary 5-7, Primary 5-7 ASN
- Secondary, Secondary ASN
Winners will be notified as soon after 20th October as possible, all winners will be invited to a celebration day at FIngask Castle. If you do not hear from us, I am afriad this probably means you have no winners but do get in touch to check if you wish.
